So, I'm not gonna say much because I'm still not particularly motivated at all, but then again, what's the point, right? The tunes are what really matters, so... here are a handful. Grip remains one of my favorite local bands ever, and this EP is jammed with awesome riffs and great songs from that niche of the 90's where metallic hardcore and weirdly melodic not-quite-"emo"-but-still-kinda-sorta-"emo" meshed rather nicely. The band had morphed into the equally awesome (and, sadly, equally short-lived) Dayspring by 1994, so this 1993 EP was their sole release. Great shit. Check out Band to Band for more intricate details of the members' other exploits. Enjoy...

Andrew,
However you choose to post is your perogative. A short blurb about an album is just fine and is appreciated by your readership.

great stuff! New Age was the best at this time.
Grip and Dayspring were both awesome. Didnt Cycle emerge from the ashes of these bands?

when i was pretty young i remember going to see bloodlet open for grip inc. i found the band grip’s description in a very distro catalog. i was kinda hoping against hope it would be that grip instead of grip inc.
