Song of the Day: Inzest, “Human,” from Another Religion... Another Violence (Self-Released, 1988)

A random blog find from several years ago, compliments of Good Bad Music for Bad, Bad Times!, this mind-blowingly scorching 7" flexi from Osaka trio Inzest was the group's only proper release—an even rarer demo or two rounding out their discography. A mere four songs in seven minutes of relentlessly blazing Japanese hardcore that will occasionally flirt with dashes of metal—as heard most specifically during the intro to "Human."

You simply can't lose. Fans of legends such as G.I.S.M., Zouo, etc. should experience a real face-melting freakout over this one!

There's very little information out there regarding Inzest, but vocalist/guitarist Hiroshi Yamashita (a.k.a. Warzy) has kept busy since the late-'80s, having served time in Hate Beyond, Grim Force, and Narcotic Greed, among others. He's even got his own signature distortion pedal!
