I used to hate Power Metal. In my younger days I probably fell victim to "popular" influence and thought it was goofy or whatever. But now? I absolutely love it. In fact, it's one of my favorite Pantera albums, and I wish they wouldn't distance themselves from it. It's loaded with catchy, anthemic metal tunes—"Rock the World," "Hard Ride," etc.
And then there's "We'll Meet Again," a kind of weird, midpaced, almost pseudo ballad. But oh, man, when that main riff creeps in at about 0:13? Holy shit. And the chorus? That guitar solo? Whew!
What a strange little atypically epic song. So good...
