I know almost nothing about Roxxi other than the fact that they were apparently from Boston, and Drive it to Ya Hard! is their only album. A few years ago I stumbled upon this CD in a local used bin for $5 and jumped all over it. They look like they could be a "real" metal band, but the band name and album title obviously lean in the glam direction (which, to be honest, probably had me even more psyched). I'm somewhat surprised an official video (that aired on Headbangers Ball, no less) even exists for this song, though it is a solid album.
This track opens the disc with killer riffs and a touch of technical flare (the guitar solo definitely demonstrates some chops). It's textbook catchy glam metal: Short but sweet, with no filler. It's a shame the band never did much. I'm guessing they just got in the game too late, 'cause this song is significantly better than anything a more successful mid-level glam band like Britny Fox ever wrote.

Could’ve been a vampire jam (Drive It To Your Heart) or a girlfriend
song (Driving To My Heart) so I guess its cool they went the way they
did: brass knuckles in the purse.
