An unfortunate number of once-excellent bands have recently been plundering the depths of boredom with slower, less catchy tunes drowning in unnecessary shoegaze and/or post-rock accoutrements.
Thankfully, Richmond, VA's Teen Death is not one of those bands.
In fact, they've just released what is arguably their most infectious track to date, "Drag," as part of a two-song digital single, available as a name your price download via Bandcamp. The chorus of this gloriously grungy minute-and-a-half gem is sure to get stuck in your head for days, and the B-side's no slouch either.
If you dig that, check out last year's Crawling EP, too. As usual, I find myself wondering why this band isn't collecting a little more hype out there in dumb ol' internetland!?
