Today, I'm going all the way back to Young Adults' 2010 demo, when I first fell in love with their brand of super raw, fuzzed-out catchiness. They've been one of my favorite current bands ever since—among a very select few that I've followed closely, and always remained excited to hear new material from—but... apparently that's all coming to an end.
You see, the band recently announced that they're calling it quits, playing their final show on October 12th in Cambridge, MA.
Shit.
Oh well, that's life, I suppose. At least their entire (amazing) discography is still available for free on Bandcamp, including their final two songs, recorded almost a year ago and just released last week. So, if you've been overlooking Young Adults for the last four or so years, please remedy that problem now, while you still can!
They never wrote a bad song. I'm super bummed, and they'll be sorely missed.
